Fallen "toy" Soldier
We have officially had our first baby toy become part of Jax's toy collection. We think he might have been provoked into playing with it, after that point it is all down hill. Following is a sequence of pictures to commemorate our fallen "toy" soldier.

Happy Father's Day
Exactly one year ago today, we found out we were expecting our first baby. It was an incredible way for Justin to celebrate the day, finding out he would soon be a Dad! So much has happened over the past year and I've watched him grow as a person and love our daughter, as only a Daddy can do. We love you so much Justin!

Dinner Date
Justin and I FINALLY had a dinner date last night with just the two of us! But guess who most of the conversation was centered around? (I'll give you one guess and her name starts with an "L" :)) It's funny how something so simple like going out for dinner is something you take for granted when you are a married couple with no kids! It was definitely long overdue and we had a great time eating at the new HuHot in Ankeny. As I was laying in bed last night, I thought "Doh! I forgot to take a picture of us to commemorate the occasion". Maybe next time!
