Sick Boy

You know we have a sick boy on our hands when he'd rather lay down than play.  This guy hardly ever stops moving.  And he's a music man through and through.  But this day, no dancing or smiling were to be seen when the music was on.  I'm oh so happy we're now on the mend!

Great Pumpkin Party

Last Thursday we went to the Great Pumpkin Party at Valley Church.  Lily had a blast playing all of the games and Silas had his first pony ride!

Whatever it Takes

Sleep has been minimal around here lately.  Whew, October was a toughie.  Silas was basically sick the entire month.  Just today, he is showing signs of becoming healthy again.  We are rejoicing!  The nights when his sinuses would drain, he would have coughing fits and would only sleep while being held.  So Justin (the amazing dad he is) would often get him to sleep and then bring him back to our bed.  We aren't co-sleepers normally but when that's the only way we could get some shut-eye...whatever it takes!!  Lily has also been coming into our room more frequently, which we're working on with her.  While these are challenging times, some moments were just precious.  Like this one......
