Carseats Are Magic!
Earlier this week, we got back from an appointment to find that Lily had fallen asleep in her carseat (which she rarely does anymore). So what did we do? We left her in there to finish out her nap while we enjoyed a picnic lunch in the driveway. Perfect solution! :)

My First Mother's Day
Celebrating the day with Grandma Connie, Great Aunt Vicky and Great Grandma Karen
At the end of a very wonderful first Mother's Day. Sleepy cuddles are my favorite!
Lily's Dedication Service
Yesterday in front of our family, friends and church we:
- Acknowledged that Lily is a gift from God
- Committed to the responsibility of raising her to delight in the most important thing we, as humans, can invest in - an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ. (not sports, a college education or prestigious career)
- Asked for God's help in this wondrous yet heavy task
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give to you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children.

Samantha & Anthony's Wedding
On April 30th Lily got to go to her first wedding. You wouldn't believe how long we had to search to find an outfit that had black in it to match the pretty black flower head band. She did a great job and even enjoyed a little two-step with Dad. The happy couple left before we could get a picture with them. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Boyd!

Lily's 2 Month Stats
Weight: 10 lb. 15 oz. (50th percentile)
Height: 22 in. (45th percentile)
Head: 15 1/2 in. (75th percentile)
We joked with Dr. Andersen that her big head just means that she's going to have a big brain. He said that he also has a big head and unfortunately it doesn't indicate that. Oh, but I beg to differ. You have to be pretty smart to be a doctor, right?
