Justin Turns 30

We had such a great time celebrating Justin's birthday with a party at Raccoon River Brewing Company, surrounded by our closest friends.

 Yep, of all the cakes to request, he wanted Chuck Norris.

Justin felt so appreciated that night and I know it meant a lot to him that he was able to spend an evening with all of his favorite people.  My hubby makes 30 look good!!

She Loves Babies!

This is one of my favorite recent pictures of Lily.  You can see by the glow on her face how happy she was to be holding Drew.  She was also proud to give him his bottle and help me change his diaper.

Family Picnic

Without intending to, it looks like I took a little hiatus from blog posting.  So, by now these pictures are from about 3 weeks ago when we had a picnic after church at a park in Ames.  The highlight of the day was when Justin said, "Whoops, I forgot the napkins" and Lily responded with, "Bummer, dude".  Seriously I think we may have said this around her once but that was obviously enough for it to stick in her mind.  Too funny.

 We usually try to keep from giggling at Lily during mealtime when she pulls this move during prayer.  I had the camera handy this time to actually catch it!
