The other night at the Carson household, Lily was the only girl down on the floor playin' with the rough-and-tumble boys.  She got bonked on the head a couple of times but still managed to hold her own.  To make it all better, Joel gave her a kiss goodnight before we headed out the door.

We've been taking Lily to the chiropractor since she was 3 weeks old.  She wasn't quite sure what to think in the beginning but now she loves it!  Today we went for one of her monthly visits.

Grandma Connie & Uncle Trav Visit

This past weekend, my mom came up to watch Lily while Justin and I went to the Iowa State Fair.  We didn't want to lug our camera around so unfortunately we don't have any pictures of the fair but I must note that we ate about 3 days worth of food while we were there!  I remember going last year while I was pregnant and made a giant list of all of the foods I intended to eat and managed to get it done.  This year, since I'm nursing I feel like I'm ALWAYS hungry so I ate almost as much as last year.  Hmmmm...wonder what my excuse can be next year? :)  We met up with my brother Travis while we were there and he came back to our house for some good old fashioned family time (mainly video game playing with his brother-in-law).  When we got home that night, Lily was in a super good mood and we had fun just hanging out!

As I've said before...she always looks right up at Trav when he's holding her.   It's soooo adorable!

Proud Dads

Last night we went to the hospital to meet Wesley Carlson.  Our friends, Bryce and Rachel, welcomed him into the world on Tuesday morning.  At four weeks early, he was a tiny little guy but oh so cute!  We know that they will be awesome parents to Wesley.

Right now, Lily is in between scooting and crawling.  It's fun to watch her make the rounds in our living room/dining room area.  Here are some shots of her in action!  (You'll notice that she has a similar expression in most of the pictures with her mouth wide open - she's VERY fascinated by the camera and wants desperately to get ahold of it!)
