It's so hard to believe that Lily's first year of life is already halfway over! Every new stage that she goes through is my new favorite. Everyone comments on how wide-eyed and alert she is. That's our girl - always wanting to check everything out and take it all in! We're pretty sure she's going to be the adventurous type! Lily has brought so much joy to our lives in the very short time that she's been here and sometimes I still have to step back in awe that God would allow us to be parents to such a wonderful little girl. She's growing and changing right before our eyes and I don't want to miss a moment! Speaking of growing and changing - here's what Lily is doing these days.....
- Sleeps 11 hours a night
- 3 naps a day (after her morning feeding, she goes right back to sleep for another couple of hours. LOVE that!)
- Army crawling around
- Sits up unassisted for short periods of time
- Likes to chew on just about anything because she.....
- GOT HER FIRST TOOTH!! You can see a teeny tiny little white tooth poking through her bottom gums. If we hadn't felt the sharp little sucker, we wouldn't have known because she had no fussiness or fever from it. Yippee!
- Smiles when Daddy walks in the room
- Has a blast watching/playing with Jax
- Is cuddly at bedtime and in the morning (I love to hold her and rock with her during those times!)
- Likes to stand with help
Happy Half Birthday Lily! We love you so much and are having a ton of fun being your parents and making lots of memories with you!
