Birthday Morning

This year for Lily's birthday, I decided it would be fun to help make her cake so I spent most of the day at our good friends, the Ramsey's, house.  Erin and I did the baking and Phillip is quite talented in working with fondant!  So it worked out great and I learned a lot from observing the whole process!  I will never again underestimate how much goes into making a cake with fondant!  And the end result and seeing the look of sheer excitement on Lily's face the next morning when she viewed her Minnie Mouse cake was priceless.
