Ankeny Baby Shower

On Saturday, January 30th, my good friends Donis and Liz co-hosted an absolutely awesome baby shower for me in Ankeny!  There were lots of church friends, some co-workers and a few family members that were able to celebrate with me and I couldn't have felt more blessed!  It was another milestone, making me realize how soon it will be that we will be meeting our baby face to face!  Baby Jones has so many special people that are eager to meet him/her and we are grateful for each and every one of them.  Here are some snapshots of the festivities!

 

Which team did I pick you ask?  Well I am truly undecided as to the gender of our baby but for the game's sake, I went with pink since EVERYONE and their brother says we're having a boy.  We shall see! :)

On top of all of the great gifts we received, there were many who brought books instead of a card which I thought was really neat!  I love to read and can't wait to share that with our baby.  I have to admit, I sat down that night and read every single book and just cried and cried!  Ahhh, the joys of overwhelming emotions that mother-to-be's experience. :)  Thank you to everyone that came and to Donis and Liz who put forth so much effort in making it such a memorable day!
