The Great Wolf Lodge

This year, my grandma took us all to Kansas City for the annual trip, which serves as her Christmas gift to us.  Every year we've gone somewhere different and this time, we stayed at Great Wolf Lodge.  They had lots of activities for kids and we were only there for 24 hours so I'd like to go back someday when Lily is a little bit older so she can try out everything.  It was fun to get together with our extended family and watch all the kids laugh & play.

 The indoor waterpark was awesome!
"You're not going to make me go down that slide are you?"
Two of the cousins dressed as Lady Gaga
Some of the cousins in their costumes.
They had several Halloween events - a costume parade, Trick or Treat trail and a dance party!
On Lily's Pup Pass, one of the things she could pick out was an animal to stuff - similar to how Build-A-Bear works.  She chose the squirrel which ended up being almost as big as her with its bushy tail! :)
After dinner out at a steakhouse, we got back to our room and Lily was very ready for bed!
Some snuggles and silliness with Dad before calling it a day
Oh, and standing in front of the air conditioning and letting it blow her hair.  She thought that was pretty fun.
All the cousins.  Jaden is the only boy thus far so they give us a hard time that we need to add another male to the mix!
Before breakfast the next morning.  The two oldest girls like to tote the two youngest around.  Brystal (top left) as you can see, was not in the mood for pictures.  She's still so cute though!

The last thing on Lily's pass was a glitter tattoo.  She (well, I) chose a butterfly.  The lady commented several times how well she sat still.  Believe me lady, this was a rare occasion!
The rest of the day, we'd ask Lily "Where's your butterfly?"
She'd roll up her sleeve, smile really big and say "Foofly!"
The perfect end to our mini vacation.
