Tulip Time

Last Friday, Lily and I joined our friends Mandy and Jenna with their kids and headed over to Pella for Tulip Time.  I'll admit, I was a little unsure how she'd do with missing her afternoon nap, but it went amazingly well.  No meltdowns whatsoever.  Success!  I think we'll definitely try to make it a tradition to go every year.

The only way she'd sit there is if she was holding her sippy cup.  It does match the tulips very nicely though.

And here's what happened when I tried to take it away.  Not happy with mom!

And this is Lily at the end of the parade, 2 hours past her usual naptime.  As long as she's got those two fingers, she's good to go.
