We had been talking up the flight for months so when the day finally came, Lily was so excited! She thought it was pretty neat that she also got to ride on a bus for the first time on that same day. Lily did great and especially enjoyed getting to have a sucker for take-off and landing (which helped in preventing any ear issues). The only time she got a little nervous was when we were on our descent into Phoenix and experienced some turbulence. She asked to hold both of Justin's hands. :)

We landed at 4:30 pm, arrived to Justin's dads around 5:30, put Lily to bed at 8 pm and this is where she ended up around 10:30pm. Fortunately, the first night was the only night that she woke up crying and ended up in bed with us. On average, I get up in the night about 6 times to go to the bathroom (had the same thing with my 1st pregnancy!) so on one of my trips back to bed, I just had to snap this photo. A rare & precious moment!
