On Sunday we had breakfast with family before we headed back to Phoenix. We met up with my parents, brother and great uncle at The Good Egg, apparently a pretty popular chain in Arizona. Then we decided to check out the Old Tucson area with my uncle Jerry. Except when we got there, it was closed. It reminded him of the Walley World stint in "National Lampoon's Vacation". At least we hadn't driven that far! So we went a few more miles up the road to the Desert Museum. By that time, my uncle needed to head to the airport so we just checked out the grounds, choosing not to take the trails with our toddler in the desert heat. Lily seemed just as thrilled about the lizards outside the museum anyway!
On the drive back to Phoenix, we stopped at the IKEA in Tempe. It was a great break from the car!
