We did way too much on Day 5 to cram into one post. Trust me, you're thanking me right now for not loading up this one post with a gazillion pictures. So anyway, around the same time we booked our flight I saw a Groupon deal for a resort in Scottsdale and hopped on it. This ended up being our favorite day of the trip! Though it was very nice to see family and stay with people we knew, it was fun to have one day where we were on our own. Lily of course loved the opportunity to play in the pool for hours. Justin & I were not very wise in calculating how much time we had between check-in and the time we needed to leave to be at Almosta Ranch. So we got back to our room from the pool, laid Lily down for a nap and then realized we needed to leave in the next 15 minutes or so. Whoops! Justin ended up carrying a konked out Lily to the car to head out to the ranch. Oh well, she was a trooper and adjusted really well to all of the crazy interruptions to the normal routine she's used to!
