While in Tucson, we stayed at my sister's friend's house. Layne was so hospitable and the setup at her house was perfect. Lily had a separate room from us which works out great because then she can't see us and doesn't think it's an option to get out of her pack-n-play in the middle of the night. :) She slept her usual 11-12 hours both nights at her house...which rarely happens when we're not at home. Even though there are no pictures to document the rehearsal dinner, I must say that it was one of the best I've been to. It was held at Tracy & Jon Mark's pastor's home. There were cute little menus at each place setting and we got to circle the items we wanted. Then a few people from their church served everyone while we relaxed & enjoyed the evening. Throughout the night, friends and family took turns toasting the happy couple. It was a really neat and intimate atmosphere and we were grateful to be a part of it. Oh, and Justin and Lily spent most of their time outside shooting hoops. Little Miss thought burning more energy sounded better than sitting at the table for a couple hours. :)
Lily did great the day of the wedding, only managing to get in a short cat nap during the reception, snuggled up on Justin's lap. The ceremony was beautiful and I had a hard time holding it together while they read their vows that they had written to each other *sniff sniff*. The reception was really laid back & fun and the festivities were wrapped up around 6 pm so that was ideal for us to get back to the house at a decent time for bed without any meltdowns! It was a great (and very hot...I think around 110) day!

Aren't they precious?
Neither girl threw one single flower petal while walking down the aisle. I think they were just taking in their surroundings so much they forgot what their job was!
This was at the point when she turned the corner and saw Justin motioning. Then she remembered her task and started dumping petals. Everyone erupted in laughter at the cuteness factor of it all!
Most of the ceremony time for Lily was spent playing with the petals, camped out on the floor in front of the front row. It served as a great way to keep her entertained.
